Cooking Guidelines
Saucepan: rinse measured rice 1 to 2 times place drained rice into a saucepan and add measured water, oil, and salt. Place saucepan uncovered over high heat and bring it to boil, stir occasionally. let the water reduce slightly below the rice level and then lower the heat.
Place a tight lid on the saucepan and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Electric rice cooker: place the drained rice in the cooker add measured water oil and sail. Cover the cooker. Turn it on and cook for 8-10 minutes. Microwave: place measured rinsed rice and oil in microwavable casserole add 2 cups of water for each cup of rice and cover microwave on high for 4-5 minutes. Stir cover and microwave on defrost for 4-5 minutes.
Fluff with fork before serving. Do not cook more than 2 cups at a time. Please note: for best results cook 300g (12oz) of rice at a time in future cooking, use more water if rice was too hard in the first cooking and use less water if it was too soft.
